a perfect winter sunday

My husband and I took the dogs for a 7 km walk today (the length wasn't really planned ;-)) in a snowy landscape. The sky was blue and cloudless, the air clear and the frost covered grass and bushes with a beautiful glittering hoarfrost. Now we are quite tired but very happy back home and will make ourselves comfortable.

On the table is a pot of ginger tea with dandelion blossoms I collected last spring, tonight's chili simmering gently in the pot and I'm going to curl up in cozy baggy clothes on the sofa for the rest of Sunday and do a few rounds knit my Mary P socks.

Is there anything nicer?

I can't think of anything right now.

PS: Who discovered the dog hair? I tell you! I can vacuum as much as I want with the fur fluffs. 😅
