As many of you already know, I love dyeing yarn.
I love dyeing so much that I have made it my own little small business. And of course I love uncolored natural tones with the same heartbeat and - I know - you do too.
When I saw that the most beautiful yarn (which had been sold out over the summer) was back in stock I just had to order it for you and me right away.
It is the now new and limited base ARCANA, which I also used for my Walk The Dog Sweater and Snow Drift Beanie in Combination with Kid Mohair last winter.
ARCANA a bit rustic and sheepy with a light halo of long and short hair and so perfect warm! A wonderful outdoor yarn in a very unique color scheme.

ARCANA comes from a herd of mixed sheep so all natural colors are included: white, grey, brown, soft brown, making a wonderful and unique yarn blend.

Dyke sheep maintain and protect the dykes and thus the surrounding area from the dangers of flooding. They keep the vegetation short and strengthen the dyke with their step. In the flood areas, they ensure that no bushes grow and that the water has a free path to drain away. €0.50 from each strand of ARCANA goes to the Arche Region support association.
The arks of the Society for the Preservation of Old and Endangered Domestic Animal Breeds (g-e-h.de) promote the keeping of old livestock breeds.

Since the number of dyke sheep is limited, the number of skeins is of course also limited until next year's shearing. If ARCANA is sold out, it will not be available again until next year.
